Been waiting for you since we got separated. We were in heaven then. Just as we were excited to live on earth, we were also afraid to leave each other. I held your hand one last time and then looked at you. And just before I let you go, I whispered that I’ll find you.

It has been 24 years and I still haven’t found you. Sometimes, I fear that I’ll break that promise, that I’ll get tired and that I won’t find you at all. But then I remember how you too made the same vow. And that by now, you too are looking for me.

I’ve sent my angel a thousand love letters. All written in the wind in hopes that they’ll find their way to my angel. This time, I’m writing them down.
